Kids Say The Darndest Things

We were out yesterday and there was this obnoxious couple where the man was old enough to be the lady's father and they were hanging all over each other. It wasn't the kind of display that you want your preschoolers seeing but what can you do when you are out in public. Peyton without missing a beat very matter-of-factly asked, "Mommy why is that girl's Daddy hugging her that way?" I don't know that I will always love and appreciate our kids' honesty and innocent questions, but this was one of those times that you couldn't help but laugh.
