Peyton was really excited about the Renaissance Festival until he saw this guy at the gate. Grant was all about getting his picture with him but you won't find Peyton anywhere near this guy.
First thing we did was go see Mother Goose.
The jester bowing to Landon saying, "Surely this is the king getting pushed around this way." Landon was really checking him out but the jester didn't leave until he made Landon laugh.
Next, we headed over to the knighting ceremony where the boys were knighted.
The boys on stage to be knighted. First, they had to prove they were brave and worthy of being knighted.

Grant with the King and Queen. Peyton wasn't interested. :)
Grant is ready to fence.
Ready to fence each other.
Shaking hands after the match. They play to 5 and Peyton won 5-4. He was so excited to get a little jewel and Grant was a great sport because after they left he said, "Good job, Peyton!"
Then, they had fun playing on the playground, juggling, and doing a clay craft. Next, they each got to pick one ride they wanted to go on and at first, Peyton was a little scared to go on this ride but Grant talked him into riding it. It spins around and around. When it was all over, Peyton loved it and Grant was the one who was scared. He laid his head in Peyton's lap. Too cute. :)
Grant was so funny telling us about the ride...He said, "Every time they said now the real fun begins, it wasn't fun at all." The real fun was when they got it spinning the most.
We watched a funny show and then headed to the jousting. They sat right at the fence at the front and were fascinated.

Thanks for posting these great pictures. You do such a great job of taking pics, but most of all you do an excellent job of exposing the boys to so many experiences. I especially love the picture of Grant and Peyton holding hands as they wait to be Knighted.
