Father's Day is such a fun day because it is one day that we get to focus on how great of a dad Vince is and allow the boys to be creative with spoiling Vince. They are so blessed to have Vince for their "Daddy." He loves them so much and being around them is one of his favorite things. They also adore him and they get so excited to be able to make things for people, especially their Daddy! Each year the boys make some type of gift to give Vince and this year his gifts were all homemade. It was funny because today when I was driving, Grant just out of the blue asked, "what did Papa (Vince's dad) get for Father's Day?" I told him I wasn't sure but he could ask him. Then, he said "well, first he has to get a son so that he can make him something." He understood that Vince was his son but evidently Grant thought Papa needed a little son that could make him something on Father's Day. Kids always make me laugh with how their little minds work. :)
Here are some pictures getting ready for our fun day and then some pictures of Father's Day...
The boys all lined up to do handprints and footprints on a big canvas. It really was a lot of fun because Grant and Peyton both have very ticklish feet so it was entertaining getting paint on their feet for each footprint.

Grant and Peyton painting their pictures for Vince. Grant painted Vince and him on an adventure with Diego and Peyton had a more contemporary work of art with all of the colors. :)

Vince slept in and then we served him a pancake breakfast in bed.

Later that day the boys surprised Vince with the canvas of their footprints and handprints.
