The training Vince is at in Fort Worth today and tomorrow is going great!
(Side Note for Context) As some of you already know, and as chronicled in a couple of recent posts below, Vince was invited to be part of this, then through several different ways, all expenses associated were provided in a way that only God could orchestrate! He is meeting other planters and pastors that share a hunger to disciple and multiply to further build Christ's Kingdom and impact culture. Through their interactive learning format today, a few of them had a chance to share their own primary convictions with the group and guide part of the discussion. Vince was one of these! It surprised him to be asked to do this as he is one of the few participating that is not either well into their church plant, or already pastoring a sponsoring or multiplying church. This gave him a great venue to share a few things he is intense about: Outside of a growing walk with God, they must invest in their family FIRST - serving and leading them with godly authenticity and that his conviction is that church planting & multiplying the Kingdom will be most impactful and fulfilling when it is a family affair where God will use their spouse and kids in their own unique passion as much as he uses the lead planter as the visionary and communicator. He also talked about being a
genuine disciple that is confident and unwavering about their vision, but teachable always seeking wise counsel from one who is a few steps ahead of them in the journey, which is a key element to continual growth as a leader! This was a surprising and energizing outlet for Vince's core values and drive to impact culture through authentic relationships, thinking outside of ourselves and our churches, and joining God where He is working in church planting movements all over the world.
Someone was snapping pictures throughout the day, and got him in action!

For those of you who had a part in praying for, supporting financially, or affirming Vince to take advantage of this opportunity -- know how grateful we are and know that it has already proven to be another divine appointment in the early, critical foundation for our journey moving forward!
