As I reflect back on this year I am reminded that there were some very hard days but there were more wonderful days. I remember hearing at different points, I just don't know how you are getting through this time. I always feel it could be so much worse so make the most of today and choose joy. I think changing our perspective to what is going right really helps change our attitude. Trust me, I know there are days where not much is going right but when you take a step back from your situation and look at it from an overall perspective, usually you can find something that is going right. Regardless, our joy isn't about our circumstances. It is about WHO we are focusing on and that puts it all in perspective and we realize that joy is a choice which makes all the difference in our attitude.
So, hope you enjoy these pictures and the fun memories that were created for us in 2009!
Over the summer, we had a lot of fun as a family but I didn't get the opportunity to post about our trip to see a special family to me. Karen and Lorri's parents kept me for the first few years when I was a baby when my mom returned to work. They are like my older sisters and we always look forward to getting together with them. Over the summer, we went to Lorri's house for the day and had so much fun and their parents were able to come visit too and see our newest addition to our family, Landon.
