Peyton was so sweet, he said, "Can Jesus come down from heaven to eat his cake?" Then, he kept, saying, "Happy Birthday, Baby Jesus." Then, Grant told us tonight when we were writing his letter to Santa that he dictated to us that he knew Christmas wasn't about getting presents but it was about giving and loving and he told Santa that it was okay if he didn't want to give him any presents because that wasn't what Christmas was about.
Tonight, as Peyton laid down his plate of cake and cookies, he said, "Hope you like your treat, Santa!"
Here are a few pictures of Jesus' birthday celebration...
The boys made a smiley face with the candles.
Boys drawing a picture on the Santa letter that I wrote based on their dictation.
The boys sprinkling out reindeer food but they thought they may have seen something in the sky so they are looking up. Peyton was concerned when he went to bed tonight that all the reindeer might not get the food and he wanted to make sure that we didn't put a fire in the fireplace so Santa didn't get a boo boo. :)
Grant putting out the cake and cookies on the Christmas plate that he decorated.
Peyton was excited to put out his treat for Santa too on the plate that he decorated.
Landon was tuckered out from a long day so he missed out on these activities but he certainly had fun celebrating today too.
We hope your family has enjoyed celebrating the birth of Jesus and made some fun memories too!
