We were outside doing work for school when Grant noticed a caterpillar and he was so excited. As you will see from the pictures, Grant and Peyton took it all around the yard and showed it everything. It even got to play on their playset and take a little swing! What started off as pure joy turned into tears and devastation! Grant was running with the caterpillar to show Peyton something about it when he dropped it. Grant had named it Wormie and everything. He was so sad that he even prayed for it at bedtime. I could not find another one and the next day we were outside and Grant discovered another one and believed it might be the same one so we went with it.
This was the second caterpillar and Grant didn't let it out of his sight so on this night, the caterpillar even got a bedtime story. :)
My family is God's most precious gift to me! God has blessed me with my wonderful soul mate and three incredible sons, Grant (5), Peyton (4), and Landon (1). Every day is an interesting story with three little ones but we seem to be those people where craziness follows us, hence the name of my blog.
I am being daily reminded in one way or another to cherish and make the most of each day no matter how crazy it is. My desire is to share our stories as well as our funny mishaps in hopes that God can use them over time to teach, encourage, and be a testimony of what God has done in our lives over the years as well as gain wisdom from others who will read this blog. I look forward to seeing how God will use this blog as I journal my thoughts and our experiences and be able to celebrate with you along the way all that God is and will do over the years in our "funny farm."
